Ways to run it
Start with the phone in your pocket, then add a customer screen, a self-order kiosk or your website. They all share the same items, orders and reports.
1. Standalone
One device does it all: ring up the sale, take Tap to Pay or show a QR code, and print the receipt if you want one.
2. Standalone + customer display
Pair a spare phone or tablet with a code. Customers watch their order build as you ring it, choose a tip, then tap their card on the display or scan its QR code.
3. Self-order kiosk
Any iPad or Android tablet becomes a locked, full-screen kiosk. Customers pay by phone, or by card on a Stripe WisePOS E, and get an order number.
4. Website
A free website built from your register’s menu. It fits any screen, so customers can order from their phone or a desktop, and orders land in the app.
We’re building an integration with order aggregators such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, so their orders arrive in nearvise Payments next to your register, kiosk and website orders — one menu, one list of orders, one set of reports.
Want it sooner? You can already request a delivery-app connection from your website settings, and we’ll set it up with an integration partner.
Setup
Pick your business type and add your address and phone. Choose how you take cards — through nearvise, or your own Stripe account.
Categories or one simple list. Type them in, import a spreadsheet, or snap a photo of your menu and let the app read it.
Ring up your first sale. Tap to Pay, QR code, payment link, cash or Zelle — on the phone in your pocket.

Get paid
Tap to Pay, QR code and payment links take cards with no reader. Add a Stripe Reader M2 for chip and swipe, or a WisePOS E at your kiosk. Cash keeps working offline.
Customers tap a contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone.
Your phone is the card reader. Works on Android phones with NFC (Android 11 or later). Tap to Pay on iPhone is coming soon.
Hardware: None
Show a code on your screen; the customer scans it and pays on their own phone.
Works on every phone and tablet, iPhone included. The sale is marked paid the moment the card goes through.
Hardware: None
Text or email a secure link, or share it any way you like.
Perfect for phone orders and customers who aren’t in front of you. They pay by card from the link.
Hardware: None
Reader M2
Pair a Stripe Reader M2 over Bluetooth to take chip and swipe cards too.
For iPads and Android tablets. Optional — only if your customers still insert or swipe.
Hardware: Stripe Reader M2 (tablets)
WisePOS E
Customers order on a tablet and pay with their phone, or by card on a WisePOS E.
Any iPad or Android tablet becomes a kiosk. Phone payments need no hardware; add a Stripe WisePOS E reader on Wi-Fi for tap, chip and swipe.
Hardware: Tablet (WisePOS E optional)
Enter what you were handed and the app shows the change due.
Keeps working with no internet — sales sync when you’re back online. Opens a cash drawer if you have one.
Hardware: None (drawer optional)
Reports
Reports for today, this week, this month or the year — and big exports arrive in your inbox as a spreadsheet.
And more
Invite by email. Staff join with your store code and a verified phone, and only see the register.
Require clock-in before selling. Staff request fixes; you approve them.
Guests join from a QR code and get a text when it’s their turn. Assign a host to run it.
No signal? Cash sales are saved on the phone and sync when you reconnect.
