nearvise Payments
Your register, on your phone.
nearvise Payments turns your phone or tablet into a register. Setup takes about three minutes, and the app walks you through every step.
Step by step
Getting started

Sign up and tell us about your business
Verify your email, pick your business type, and add your name, business address and a verified phone. A logo is optional.

Choose how you’ll get paid
Set your sales tax, then take cards through nearvise or link your own Stripe account. Add Zelle if you use it. Card sales are deposited to your bank twice a month, or daily if you prefer.

Pick your register style
One simple grid for a short list, or categories with named, colour-coded tabs. You can switch any time.

Add your items
Type them in on your phone, import a spreadsheet, or snap a photo of your menu and let the app read it. On a computer, the menu editor at business.nearvise.com is even faster.

Add options and tips (if you want them)
Create add-on groups like size or toppings, each with its own price. Turn on tips with three suggested percentages, on screen or on the receipt.

Ring up your first sale
Tap items to build the ticket, then pick how they pay: Tap to Pay, Card (QR code or link), Cash or Zelle. Text the receipt, share it, or print it.

Waitlist
In the header: how many guests are waiting.
Clock in
Start or end your shift. Turns “On” while you’re on the clock.
Reports
Sales, best sellers, tips, busy hours and more.
Add staff / customer
Invite a staff member or add a new customer.
Offline
No internet. Cash still works and syncs later.

When you’re ready for more
- Invite staff
- Menu → Staff → Add staff. They join with your store code and a verified phone. Staff can sell and clock in, but can’t see reports, deposits or payment settings.
- Connect a printer
- Register Setup → Printer. Star printers are found by scanning; network printers by IP address; or use AirPrint.
- Turn on the waitlist
- Register Setup → Waitlist. Print or show the QR code; guests join from their phones and get a text when it’s their turn.
- Build your website
- At business.nearvise.com → Website: five steps, a live preview, and online ordering paid by card.
